As we say goodbye to summer and celebrate the beginning of
new school year, we want to invite everyone to participate in this annual UCC
event. We ask each family to bring two covered dishes and a dessert to share. College students: relax-you are our guests! This year we will have inflatable’s and games for the children.
Janeil Owen of Northwest Haiti Christian Mission will be here to update us on the situation in Haiti. UCC provided financial assistance through this mission to assist with the rescue and rebuilding efforts following the earthquake in January. Janeil will be providing additional information on the current situation and how we can become more involved in the on going efforts to spread Christ through the rebuilding efforts. A freewill offering will be taken following the presentation. If you wish to contribute to this effort, please make your checks payable to UCC and write “Haiti” in the memo line.
It's time to begin practice for the Christmas program! This year the program is called, "Back To The Manger." We will begin practice on the 12th and will meet from 4-5 p.m., because of the Hog Roast at 6 p.m. The rest of the semester the practice will be from 6-7 p.m. Children grades 1st-6th are encouraged to attend.
