GO to the world in service and share the Gospel, and go to heaven through salvation.
![]() | MissionsUniversity Christian Church is active in supporting the spreading of the gospel in Kansas, the United States, as well as throughout the world. Over 17% of our annual budget goes to support missions. We also organize and send church members on short term mission trips to both help missionaries in the field as well as to provide educational and personal growth opportunities for our members. For more details, check out our missions ministry Web page. |
Senior Adults MinistryThe Senior Adults Ministry of University Christian Church is a ministry to adults who are retired and/or over age 65 who are unable to participate as fully in the life of the church as they once did -- those older adults who, because of differing situations, often feel isolated and lonely, and perhaps even forgotten by the church. These individuals are sometimes homebound -- either permanently or temporarily. We try to reassure them of the church's concern and compassion as we offer encouragement and cheer through sending cards, making phone calls, visiting, providing communion to those who request it, providing transportation in some situations, assisting caregivers as we are able, and providing occasional meals. Check out the Senior Adults Ministry Web page for more details. |
