Each family is asked to bring a salad, a vegetable and a dessert.
Please drop off food in the FLC kitchen at 5:45 p.m., so we can begin
the meal promptly at 6 p.m.
We as the church in Manhattan again have an amazing
opportunity to worship God with people from all over the world. You and your friends,
both international and American, are cordially invited to attend a worship
gathering where we'll sing and pray together in ten or more languages. Catch a
glimpse of heaven! We'll sing in anticipation of celebrating God with people
from every tribe, tongue & nation on earth!
There will be worship music in
Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French, Spanish, Indonesian, Arabic, Congolese, Zulu
& Hindi (not to mention a few in English, as well). Pastor Shing Chang, who
leads Manhattan Chinese Christian Fellowship, will share about the amazing life
of a Chinese believer who became a prolific composer of many of China's most well-known
hymns.
Please bring a yummy dessert item with you if possible. After the event,
we'll serve the food & have a time of fellowship together.

This Christmas, you can share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with a needy child in a country like El Salvador or Guinea by packing a simple shoe box with personal gifts. We will collect and prepare the shoeboxes for shipping at a special kid’s night with crafts and other activities to get in the Christmas spirit. Can’t make it? Drop off your box in the Education Building on November 15. Questions? Contact Theresa Wilson or visit the children’s ministry Web page.
